Privacy Policy
The Short Version
Browsing LiveAndLoudList doesn't require an account, and we don't track you across other sites or sell your data. The only personal information we ever collect is what you choose to give us — signing up for the newsletter, or claiming an artist/venue listing. Your favorites and location are used only on your own device or briefly in the moment, never stored on our end.
Browsing The Site
No account or sign-up is needed to look up shows. Saving an artist to "My Artists" is stored only in your own browser — it never reaches us and isn't tied to you in any way.
If you allow location access for "near you" results, it's used only to calculate distance and is never stored. If you don't grant location access, we may use a coarse, approximate location (such as one derived from your IP address) for that one request, which also isn't saved.
We collect limited, anonymous, aggregate usage data (which pages get visited, general device type) to understand how the site is used overall — this can't be tied back to any individual visitor.
Artists & Venues
Logging in to claim or manage a listing doesn't use a password — we email you a secure sign-in link instead, and use a cookie only to keep your browser signed in to your own dashboard.
Anything you submit through an Artist or Venue Profile form (name, bio, photos, contact info, links) is reviewed before it goes live, and once approved, it's displayed publicly on the site — that's the whole point of the listing. Don't submit anything there you don't want public.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the weekly show digest, we collect your email address (and, if you allow it, an approximate location) for the sole purpose of sending that email. You can unsubscribe at any time; just reach out to the email below and we'll remove you.
Who Else Sees This Data
We work with a small number of trusted service providers to run parts of the site — for example, hosting, email delivery, and location lookups. Each only receives what it needs to do its specific job, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We don't sell data to anyone, and we don't run third-party advertising or tracking scripts on this site today.
Your Choices
Want your profile, newsletter subscription, or any other information removed or corrected? Email us and we'll take care of it.
Children
LiveAndLoudList isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
